One of the things that is most profound about this episode is something that I see quite often, and yet most people don't realize it's occurring: When it comes to healing, it is common that people will be drawn subconsciously towards actions and mind work that is linked to the problem or even reinforces the problem, not the solution. That is the case in this episode. I work with Vanessa, a woman with a big heart who is very smart but also has some wounding around feeling not heard and misunderstood since her childhood. As I work with her, she begins to see that the very thing she felt like was moving towards a solution was ultimately fueling the problem.
